Our 'Wish List' at Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen include:

One way to lend assistance to Our Daily Bread is to visit our 'Wish List'  (click here)  through Amazon where you will see some of the items we have consistent need for in our daily operation. These can be purchased through Amazon and shipped directly to ODB as a form of donation. Keeping your receipt for tax purposes with our Tax ID as displayed will be of assistance to you later. If you would rather obtain these items and bring them directly to us, we would love to see you and have you come and visit us personally. We are here Monday through Friday, from 7AM to 3PM.

These are other ways in which help can be of great meaning to us here:

(1) Prayer - for our daily operations; staff; volunteers; sponsoring churches; board of directors; patrons; and the city of Lima, Allen County, Ohio.

(2) FOOD - sugar, flour, noodles, sauces, condiments, salad dressings, #10 cans (commercial size) of vegetables, coffee, napkins, and canned fruits.

(3) Monetary donations - allow us to buy bulk foods and pay operating expenses that include gas, electric, and telephone bills, as well as our two full-time staff member's salary.

(4) Daily operations goods - Bulk coffee, napkins, tin foil, saran wrap,  salad dressings, noodles, paper towel, etc. We welcome one-time assistance. However, those individuals and organizations who choose to partner with us in regular supportive manner greatly lessen shortages, which we experience certain times during the year. We also want to encourage those to consider sponsoring the kitchen for a half-day or full day. The kitchen operates at a cost of $350/day, or $175 per half-day.

Additionally, we have capital building needs with maintenance and improvements to our food storage areas. For this reason, we would invite those from a business side of things to consider supporting this Non-Profit (501c3) and welcome corporate sponsorships.
