Yes! I’d like to volunteer at Our Daily Bread.

VOLUNTEERS

The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40

Volunteers are the backbone of Our daily Bread. We are blessed to have volunteers from regional churches, service organizations, businesses, and people who just want to give. We never turn down volunteers.

With just three staff members, we need volunteers to help in the kitchen, fill the trays in the serving line, serve trays to the elderly and those with disabilities, help in the pantry stocking the shelves, and to help in the clean up after the meal is served. Some days we have certain areas where we need people, but most days we like our volunteers to get the experience they want and let them choose where they will serve.

For larger groups coming for the first time, we ask that you call in advance so that we can schedule you, so that there won’t be an over abundance of volunteers and you will get the experience you are looking for.

If you come before 9:30, we can take you around for a short tour and tell you a little more about our operation. Then we begin serving at 10:30 am Monday thru Friday. We are open most holidays with the exception of Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

We maintain a safe and secure facility and encourage you to meet and minister to our friends who come in to enjoy the meal. If you can’t donate your time or money, we also ask that you remember us in your prayers. We encourage you to pray for our ministry, our staff, our volunteers, and our friends who come in to enjoy meals and fellowship at Our Daily Bread.
